Privacy policy
Adgency is software built and operated by Stephan Smit, Utrecht, the Netherlands. It reads Google Ads accounts and drafts recommended changes. I run it for accounts linked under one Google Ads manager account. It is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
What Google data it accesses
Adgency uses the Google Ads API with the adwords scope. With the account owner's consent it reads campaign, ad group, keyword, search term and performance data for the Google Ads accounts linked to that manager account. It does not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google service.
How the data is used
The data is used for one purpose: analysing those accounts and drafting recommendations, such as negative keyword additions. A person reviews every change before it is applied. The data is not used to serve ads, to profile people, or to develop or train machine-learning models.
Where the data is stored
Credentials and account data are stored on infrastructure that I control. Access tokens last for the engagement and are revoked when it ends. Report data is kept only for the analysis it was fetched for. Email me if you want it deleted sooner.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold, rented or shared with any third party. It is disclosed only when the law requires it. Data from an advertising account is shown only to the owner of that account and to me as the operator.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Adgency's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
You can revoke Adgency's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. That invalidates the stored token immediately.
